Mike Carroll – Managing Partner After spending over a decade in the financial services industry with Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan Chase, Austin native and 9/11 survivor Mike Carroll co-founded Carroll & Delaune in 2009 with a passion for preparedness. On a business trip to New York City on September 11, 2001, Mike was working on the 61st floor of the World Trade Center’s South Tower when hijackers crashed an airplane into the building, sending people scrambling for safety, and ultimately killing thousands. Mike was fortunate enough to escape the building just 10 minutes before it collapsed, instilling in him a profound appreciation for life, and a better understanding for the importance of being ready for the unexpected. It was this harrowing experience that brought Mike to where he is now. Today, the inspirational speaker, triathlete and Texas Longhorn fan is always on the lookout for partners that provide the most accessible and accommodating options to his clients. Sarah Delaune – Managing Partner Before co-founding Carroll & Delaune, Sarah also spent time with JP Morgan Chase, but soon had the itch to serve people in a more fulfilling way. After losing both parents to illness, Sarah experienced the benefits of preparedness first hand when she learned her father’s life insurance policy would offer her and her sister some much needed relief from the financial burden that often accompanies unexpected death. With valuable experience that hits close to home, coupled with industry training, Sarah is well-versed in all matters of life insurance. Melissa Daniel – Agent Before starting her career as a Property and Casualty Insurance Specialist, Melissa worked in wholesale mortgage banking as an account executive for Citibank. While taking time off to conquer a new role as mother, Melissa continuously researched new ways of protecting her growing family. This included securing a sound personal insurance program.
